STUDIO INFORMATION & POLICIES

TUITION AND DISCOUNTS

Classes are based on a 34 week schedule. An annual tuition is set for each level and is payable in nine monthly installments. Payments are due the first week of each month (exception: September-due first week of class).

The payment is one installment, not a payment for that month. Payment is the same whether it is a short or long (5 week) month. Holidays are worked into the schedule.

If tuition has not been received by the due date, a statement will be sent with a late charge of ten percent added to the tuition.

We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover. You are responsible for all nine payments regardless of attendance.  Missed classes may be made up at your convenience.

The director must be notified by phone or letter of a student’s intent to withdraw from class, at which point, obligations to pay tuition will end.

OTHER POLICIES

CLASS OBSERVATION: Our facility is set up to enable parents to observe all of their children’s classes from the waiting area.

PRACTICE WEAR: Dancewear is required for all classes. Hair should be pulled back and secured for class.

***Preschool and Preballet students require a leotard and tights (any color) and ballet slippers. Preschool II and Preballet classes also require tap shoes.

***All other students require leotards, tights, ballet slippers. Jazz shoes may be worn for jazz and are required for the Contemporary track students. Tap shoes are needed for tap students.

RECITAL/SHOWCASE: Our philosphy supports the idea that this performance should be enjoyable and stress free for students and parents alike. Younger students present concepts learned through the year with their teacher present. Therefore, dance education is continued throughout the year without the need to spend entire class periods preparing for a recital.

Older students present more complex choreography as their level dictates.

Participation in the showcase is optional. Students who elect not to participate still enjoy a high level of dance education through the entire year.
